
Michael Brownlee and Lynette Marie Hanthorn
Co-founders of Transition Colorado, Michael Brownlee and Lynette Marie Hanthorn are long-time catalysts for relocalization--developing community resilience and self-reliance in the face of global crises--and ardent advocates of the international Transition movement. Besides being a writer and frequent speaker on sustainability issues, Michael is a Director of Transition U.S., and a certified Transition Trainer. Lynette Marie is certified as a Permaculture Designer, Holacracy Practitioner and Transition Trainer; for more than 20 years, she was the executive director of a non-profit criminal justice and mediation organization in Ames, Iowa, which evolved into international consulting for USIA grant-funded mediation projects with emphasis on Restorative Justice.
