Supreme Beef and Iowa's CAFO Problem

On June 29, 2021, IEC and the Sierra Club Iowa Chapter hosted panel of experts for eye-opening discussion about how Iowa is sacrificing our water for the benefit of big ag.  

The group reviewed the Supreme Beef CAFO approval process as an example that demonstrates the threats and impacts CAFOs bring to water quality, how the CAFO approval process got us to where we are, and why its critical to protect our water.  

Panelists include Dr. Chris Jones, Tom Murray with Trout Unlimited, Dr. Silvia Secchi, and Gene Tinker.
