Women, Farming, and the Future: Your Land, Your Decisions

Join the Iowa Environmental Council on Thursday, July 18 from 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM at the beautifully restored Hotel Pattee in Perry, Iowa. This is event is designed to help women landowners and managers who face challenges as they manage farm ground in an environment often dominated by men. Attendees will get practical advice about communicating with tenants, drafting leases that include conservation easements, securing additional income from wind and solar energy, understanding health and economic benefits of clean water.
