Flip the Switch webinar

The Iowa Utilities Board (IUB) is undertaking a state-mandated review of its utility rate-making laws, which will impact how utilities like MidAmerican and Alliant charge customers. A series of public discussion sessions are going on now, with the last scheduled for early November, and will result in a set of legal recommendations to be considered in the 2024 legislative session.

In a webinar hosted in October, IEC Energy Program Director Kerri Johannsen led a session covering what's been going on at these sessions, the policies the Iowa Environmental Council and our partners are pushing for, and reveal what you can do to take action in this process.
