Please join ELPC on Wednesday, April 12 for a conversation with Dan Egan on his new book The Devil’s Element: Phosphorus and a World Out of Balance.

Phosphorus is at the center of an increasingly dire environmental crisis poisoning freshwater sources all over the globe. The abundance of phosphorus from many sources is causing toxic algae blooms and “dead zones” in waterways from coast to coast including the Great Lakes.

Dan Egan is the Brico Fund Journalist in Residence at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Center for Water Policy, a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist, and a New York Times best-selling author of the book Death and Life of the Great Lakes.
