INRC Fall 2021 Water Quality Research Seminar Series: New Technologies, New Tools and Emerging Concerns
Presenter: Chris Jones is a research engineer at the University of Iowa IIHR-Hydroscience and Engineering.
Jones' presentation will outline a proposed objective, 1-value water quality metric for streams in agricultural watersheds, and discuss how Iowa streams fare against this index. Jones’ research interests include contaminant hydrology, real time water monitoring and municipal drinking water quality and treatment.
Seminar sessions will be virtual and in-person at 1306 Elings Hall, 605 Bissell Road, on the Iowa State University campus. Sessions are free and open to the public and will be recorded and posted on INRC’s website with speakers’ permission.
