Join Kay Neumann, Executive Director of SOAR (Saving Our Avian Resources),
to learn about Peregrine Falcons and the challenges they face in Iowa. Peregrines are an amazing raptor that can fly straight-away at 60 mph and when they fold their wings and go into a dive (stoop)
they can reach speeds of up to 260 mph! SOAR's mission is three-fold raptor rehabilitation, raptor education, and raptor research. This will be an interesting program for the whole family! Admission is free for the program at 6:45 p.m. Dinner is available with doors opening at 5:30 and service at 6. Be sure to get your card for the 50/50 Raffle and sign yo ur meal ticket for Door Prizes!
