Join Izaak Walton League of America and Whiterock Conservancy for a leisurely float on the Middle Raccoon River Saturday, September 7 from 10am-3pm. The event will also feature a discussion on issues of water quality of Iowa's rivers and how you can help. Enjoy a free beer courtesy of Mistress Brewing. 

Please meet and park at River Campground just before the Fig Ave bridge (1313 Fig Ave) at Whiterock Conservancy at 9:30 AM. Launch point at the Hwy 141 Art Park near the Coon Rapids golf course and take out will be at the River Campground. Kayaks, canoes and shuttle service will be provided, but kayaks and canoes are first-come-first-served. Attendees are also welcomed to bring their own kayaks and canoes. 

NOTE: Because of potentially low water, kayaks may be the only option for the event.
