Join us as we celebrate Earth Day 2025 on Sunday, April 27th from 12:00-3:00 pm. This event is open to the public with no registration required. Come and buy a sweet treat from Baan Vaan Ice Cream as you stroll the arboretum and enjoy all the Earth Day activities.
All activities will take in and around the Vista Room and on the lawn. In case of inclement weather activities will be moved inside.

Art by Kat Face Painting 12:00-3:00 pm -Special designs only available for purchase at Earth Day.
Artist Jill Woodward 12:00-3:00 pm- Create a bug with found objects. ( no charge, while supplies last)
Des Moines Parent 12:00 -3:00 pm – 100 Things to Do Before you Die In Des Moines Bingo ( no charge)
DNR Conservation Office Dustin Eighmy 12:00 -3:00 pm All things animals and fur ( no charge)
Local Author Megan Cline 12:00- 3:00 pm – Kids craft and activity ( no charge, while supplies last)
Local book Illustrator Jill Woodward 12:00 -3:00 pm Kids craft base on her book “All the Colors of the Moon” ( no charge, while supplies last)
