Plymouth Church's Creation Care & Justice Committee presents a discussion on Iowa's water quality Sunday, April 30, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Plymouth Church. A free light lunch
featuring locally produced and sustainable foods will be offered at 12:15 p.m.

Keynote speaker is Neil Hamilton, an agricultural law and policy expert and author of The Land Remains. A discussion featuring a panel of farming and water policy experts will follow
moderated by Pat Boddy, a water resources engineer and former conservation administrator.
Panelists are:

  • Chris Henning, landowner and recipient of the Practical Farmers' 2022 Farmland Owner Legacy Award;
  • Ruth McCabe
  • leaders at the Conservation Team at Heartland Co-op;
  • John Norwood, business owner and former Polk County Soil & Water Commissioner,
  • and Matt Russell, Iowa State Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency, and a fifth-generation Iowa farmer.
