State Senator Rob Hogg of Cedar Rapids is hosting special guest, bestselling author and Presidential candidate Marianne Williamson, for one in a series of climate conversations with Presidential candidates on Monday, June 10th , at noon, in Room 343 Cedar Hall on the campus of Kirkwood Community College, 6301 Kirkwood Blvd. SW, in Cedar Rapids. Please feel free to invite others who might be interested. There is no cost to attend.

This is an opportunity to listen to Ms. Williamson's ideas for bringing Americans together to take the climate action we so urgently need. Citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions and talk individually with Ms. Williamson about climate change and related issues for health, jobs, the environment, and sustainability. The program will be moderated by Senator Hogg.

This event is being co-sponsored by the Kirkwood SEEDS Club on sustainable gardening. Kirkwood Community College does not support or oppose candidates for political office.
