Boasting an ever-expanding collection of over 2,500 trees and shrubs representing over 500 species, the Brenton Arboretum is nestled in Dallas County and a gem for Central Iowa. Join Brenton Arboretum Director of Horticulture Andy Schmitz to learn the basics of an arboretum and explore some of the collections he has curated on the landscape; especially his more than decade long work with Kentucky coffee tree.
