Did you know a small 8×10 foot area can generate 50 gallons of water during a 1-inch rain event? Learn how to capture that rainwater and put it to good use in your garden during this hands-on workshop. All materials and tools will be provided to create your own 55-gallon rain barrel. Be sure you can transport your 55-gallon barrel home. Pre-registration required.
*Before signing up, be aware that the installation of a rain barrel requires for the cutting of a house’s downspout to divert water flow to the barrel. If you live in a rental house or condominium, make sure you are allowed to make modifications to the property’s gutter system.
