For more than 25 years, the Iowa Environmental Council’s members have been the foundation of our success. Our collaborative, balanced, and nonpartisan approach is unique and effective, but it only works with your support and participation.
IEC has been able to achieve many important goals with the support of our members. Join today to be a part of protecting and preserving Iowa's land, water, and air for all to enjoy.
Individual Membership
All IEC memberships include an IEC decal, exclusive members-only communications, opportunities to provide input on IEC policy priorities, and a vote in IEC's at-large board member elections. At the Leadership level and above, additional benefits are offered.

IEC Membership Levels
- College Student Membership - $15 annually or $5 monthly
- Young Professional Membership - $35 annually or $5 monthly
- Individual Membership - $50 annually or $10 monthly
- Household Membership - $150 annually or $20 monthly
- Leadership Membership - $250 annually or $25 monthly. Includes an exclusive IEC print from Bozz Prints.
- Stewardship Membership - $500 annually or $45 monthly. Includes an exclusive IEC print from Bozz Prints and one (1) ticket to one (1) IEC fundraising event.
- Guardian Membership - $1,000 annually or $85 monthly. Includes an exclusive IEC print from Bozz Prints, a ticket to one IEC fundraising event, and a choice of one of three IEC member experiences.
- Visionary Membership - $2,500 annually or $225 monthly. Includes an exclusive IEC print from Bozz Prints, a ticket to one IEC fundraising event, and a choice of two of three IEC member experiences.
- Champion Membership - $5,000 annually or $425 monthly. Includes an exclusive IEC print from Bozz Prints, a ticket to one IEC fundraising event, and all three IEC member experiences.

Organizational Membership
Organizational members may be non-profits, businesses, and other types of organizations and must be approved by our board of directors. Only nonprofit and volunteer organizations may vote for member organization representatives on our board of directors.
Organizational member benefits include:
- a listing on our website with a hyperlink to your webpage
- an invitation to reserve a table at no cost for IEC’s Environmental Lobby Day at the Iowa State Capitol
- the ability to submit your upcoming events on our online community calendar
- organizational communications, such as e-newsletters, progress reports, and the Annual Report
- invitations to member events, including our annual meeting and policy groups
For nonprofit and volunteer organizations only
