Solar Powering Iowa 2016

posted on Thursday, March 24, 2016

Solar Powering IowaUtilities, policy makers, lenders, developers, contractors, solar installers, local governments, and training & workforce development professionals – they’re all coming together today in Cedar Rapids for Solar Powering Iowa 2016, a conference hosted by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA). Together, attendees will define opportunities in the solar market, and provide resources and networks to advance projects.

“We are very excited to offer a variety of national and local speakers that will address market fundamentals, discuss emerging opportunities, and share case studies and resources that demonstrate the potential of solar PV for Iowa homes, businesses, utilities, and communities,” said Nick Hylla, Executive Director of the MREA. “With the current opportunities available for Iowa municipalities, universities, schools, and hospitals through cost-effective leasing of PV systems as well as new models for electric utilities to offer PV to their ratepayers, Iowa is poised to be a regional leader in solar PV development in the coming years.”

We're proud to partner with MREA on this event and look forward to moderating one of the panels and connecting with participants at our booth in the exhibit hall. On-site registration is available. View the conference agenda and additional event details on Solar Powering Iowa 2016 Website.
